This bill should be passed! Simply because people like my husband, who has been suffering from lung disease for years and just recently received a double lung transplant, can not attend places that allow smoking. This limits the places of business we can go to. We used to enjoy going out and listening to music, but it’s near impossible to find a place anymore that doesn’t allow smoking. My husband’s lung disease was not his fault, so why should he continue to be penalized for other’s actions? Institute a ban on public smoking in places of business and give others the freedom to enjoy a life outside the walls of their homes!

  2. Sharon Covert Says:

The Board of Health would be shirking their duty if they left this issue unaddressed. The BOH is not a branch of the Chamber of Commerce– they are responsible for protecting the public health. Clean Indoor Air in all public venues is a must! I congratulate them for taking this issue on and look forward to the new regulations passing!
